Attorney Day graduated from Brunswick High School, Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution, Pennsylvania State University with a Master of Management/Business Administration, and the Maine School of Law with a Juris Doctor. He has been practicing law as a member of the Maine Bar since May 15, 1997, then he worked at the State of Maine, Bureau of Financial Institutions, Securities Division, and Bureau of Insurance, Property and Casualty Division.
In 2002 Attorney Day opened his own practice. Now, the Law Offices of Thaddeus V. Day, PLLC is located at 440 Walnut Hill Road, North Yarmouth, Maine. Thaddeus practices in the area of Taxation, Probate, and Estate Planning, including work on issues of Guardianship, Conservatorship, Trusts, Wills, Power of Attorneys, United States and State income, gift, and estate taxes, and end of life planning. Attorney Day has litigated issues related to his work in Maine State Courts, United States District Court, and United States Tax Court. He serves as a conservator, personal representative, and advocate for estates. He also provides services in the following areas: Probate Administration, Parental Rights, Divorce, Child Custody, corporate and contract formation, real estate, personal injury, and criminal defense. As a member of the Maine State Bar Association, Attorney Day is a member of the following sections:
Thaddeus is active as a reservist in the Maine Air National Guard serving as a Colonel. He is also active as an appointed member and chair of the North Yarmouth Zoning Board of Appeals, as the Commander of Falmouth American Legion Post 164, and as a director of the North Yarmouth Memorial Park Corporation. Thaddeus is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and North Yarmouth Business Association. He is a past President of the Maine State Bar Association, a Bar Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a Bar Fellow of the Maine Justice Foundation.
